Mahube-Otwa provides services for low income and elderly persons living in Mahnomen, Hubbard, Becker, Otter Tail and Wadena counties. For 50 years, Mahube has worked to fight poverty and be an advocate for low income and elderly people -- promoting self-sufficiency, family stability and community revitalization. Mahube-Otwa continues to look forward to a bright and positive future providing "Community Action" and empowering people to achieve self sufficiency.
Need
Volunteers needed to prepare and file taxes for low income individuals.
More Details
Mahube-Otwa has a Tax Aide program to assist low income clients with filing their taxes. Volunteers should have familiarity with filing simple tax returns and be available for specific appointment slots to be determined. This services has been in high demand!
