Fristers (Friends + Sisters) is dedicated to helping teen/young parents build healthy and stable lives and families through educational classes and workshops, mentoring, case management, and the support of a caring community. Fristers knows that pregnant/parenting teens and their kids are a vulnerable population at risk of dropping out of school, child abuse/neglect, mental illness, etc. Fristers offers multiples solutions--a community of support, referrals and resources to complete high school, introduction to college and vocational training, life skills and workforce readiness to guide young parents toward economic security and healthy relationships and parenting training to create a thriving family environment.
