The Salvation Army's mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Centers (ARCs) provide residential recovery programs for individuals seeking to deal with substance abuse and other addictions. They seek to help participants regain self-worth, learn how to build an orderly and disciplined life and become contributing members of society. Each program participant is provided with a clean and healthy living environment, nutritious food, group and individual counseling, spiritual direction, work therapy assignments, and recreational activities.
Need
Come alongside our clients to teach basic life skills, such as responsibility of maintaining bed space, property, and light cleaning of our dining hall, teach the essentials of bathing, maintaining a healthy diet, laundry, and hygiene.
