The Sheepfold provides a safe haven for families who are victims of domestic violence and provides for all of their needs while they heal. The Sheepfold equips mothers with children suffering from homelessness or abuse for successful independent living with hope for the future. A key outcome is that they can live on their own independently and not be tempted to return to their abuser and destructive lifestyle.
Need
Help local families ride in comfort, safety, and dignity! Our partner shelter homes utilize multi-passenger vans to transport mothers and their children to essential appointments, school, community events, and church. With constant daily use, these ministry vehicles occasionally need a deep, thorough clean-up and some extra care.
More Details
This is a highly practical, active service project perfect for individuals, families, or small groups who want to serve behind the scenes. Volunteers will handle the vacuuming, washing, and detailing of the vehicles to ensure they are fresh and clean for the families.
Type: This is a flexible, on-site project hosted at one of our partner's residential locations.
Supplies: You will coordinate with the volunteer leader regarding the availability of water, hoses, or specific cleaning supplies you may need to bring.
