The Sheepfold provides a safe haven for families who are victims of domestic violence and provides for all of their needs while they heal. The Sheepfold equips mothers with children suffering from homelessness or abuse for successful independent living with hope for the future. A key outcome is that they can live on their own independently and not be tempted to return to their abuser and destructive lifestyle.
Need
Help bring life and fresh growth to residential shelter homes! Several of our local shelter houses feature vegetable gardens that provide nutritious food for the residents. We need volunteers to help clear out overgrowth, prep the soil, and replant these gardens so they can continue to flourish.
More Details
This is a wonderful, hands-on outdoor project that is perfect for small groups, families, or coworkers. It is a highly practical way to bless a local home and create a beautiful space for the residents to enjoy.

Group Size: Ideal for small groups.
Age Restrictions: Minors are welcome to join but must be accompanied by an adult.
Supplies: Volunteers will need to bring their own basic gardening tools and planting supplies (detailed recommendations will be shared by the coordinator).
