Help Facilitate Prayer/Bible Study Gathering for Residents of The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army's mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Centers (ARCs) provide residential recovery programs for individuals seeking to deal with substance abuse and other addictions. They seek to help participants regain self-worth, learn how to build an orderly and disciplined life and become contributing members of society. Each program participant is provided with a clean and healthy living environment, nutritious food, group and individual counseling, spiritual direction, work therapy assignments, and recreational activities.
Need
Spend some time with residents from the Salvation Army Emergency Shelter in prayer. Have a willingness to pray for and teach the TSA Clients how to pray, model prayer in the believer's life. Have a desire to pray and lead in prayer.
More Details
This opportunity provides you the time to pray and teach others how to pray modeling the prayer life of a believer. Weekly on Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30 pm.
