By stepping into the kitchen to assist with prep work and food service, you directly support our unhoused neighbors, ensuring they receive reliable, nutritious meals in a dignified and welcoming environment.

This is an excellent, highly active on-site opportunity for adult individuals or small groups who want to serve directly in a culinary and hospitality role.

Shifts are available across three main meal windows throughout the week:

When: Monday through Friday. Choose from three daily meal blocks:

Breakfast Shift: 7:15 AM – 9:00 AM
Lunch Shift: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Dinner Shift: 5:15 PM – 7:00 PM

Age Requirement: Because this opportunity takes place inside an active adult interim housing facility and involves a commercial kitchen environment, all volunteers must be 18 years or older to serve.

Capacity: 1–4 volunteers are needed per standard shift.

Important Note for Large Groups: Teams of 5 or more volunteers must coordinate directly with the site coordinator ahead of time to ensure kitchen space availability.
