PATH’s goal is to end homelessness for individuals, families, and communities through a combination of services across the state of California. Currently, PATH operates two homeless shelters in Orange County: The Yale Navigation Center (Santa Ana) and the Placentia Navigation Center (Placentia).

Provide nourishment, warmth, and hospitality to local residents on their journey toward permanent housing! Operating a transitional shelter kitchen takes a dedicated team to keep daily meal operations running seamlessly. By stepping into the kitchen to assist with prep work and food service, you directly support our unhoused neighbors, ensuring they receive reliable, nutritious meals in a dignified and welcoming environment.

PATH Orange County is in need of volunteers to support kitchen operations at the Yale Navigation Center in Santa Ana, as well as Bridges at Kraemer Place in Anaheim. This opportunity is ideal for small groups who are interested in helping out in the kitchen and serving guests! Responsibilities may include chopping ingredients, sandwich making, meal serving, dish washing, and more as needed.
Shifts are available across three main meal windows throughout the week:
Mon-Sun
Breakfast: 7:00AM - 10:30AM
Lunch: 11:00AM - 2:30PM
Dinner: 4:00PM - 8:00PM
Max # of volunteers/shift: 6.
