Giving Children Hope (GCH) is a community-driven nonprofit that equips front-line partners with resources to serve vulnerable children and families. As a faith-based partner, they provide sustainable hope through wellness programs and disaster response in collaboration with local and global communities. The Giving Children Hope community of volunteers and partners is focused on helping local families break out of the cycle of need into success and self-sustainment by providing food, household goods, and leadership development.
Need
Giving Children Hope works to combat weekend food insecurity for children in the Greater Orange County and Los Angeles areas. Volunteers will be assigned to assist with directing traffic as families prepare to participate in our drive-thru.
More Details
Fridays | 7:30 AM–11:00 AM Volunteers MUST be 18 years or older. Food distributions will take place rain or shine. Food distributions are critical connection points for our community to receive needed groceries - we will make every effort to stay open for these distributions. We have two active models, a client-choice and a drive-thru food distribution. Orientation and training are included in each shift.
