Helping Hands is a local organization that assists local school children and youth with basics like hygiene and clothing items to make them more successful in school. items are handed out on an as-needed basis by a volunteer who keeps items stocked on hand at Century School and the High School.
Need
The Helping Hands "Lace Up for Learning" initiative provides tennis shoes for kids in need in the Park Rapids area schools.
More Details
After signing up, please purchase tennis shoes (laces or velcro) in any kids' size 1-5 (sizes 1-3 are most frequently needed). Ensure that the shoes have a good tread/grip and can be used for physical education classes.
Next Steps
Upon purchase, please bring the shoes to the Compassion Counter in Park Rapids or purchase online and have them delivered to the address listed in the confirmation email (please include your name on the gift tag if available).
